How many times have you wished that you could DO a little better?  BE a little better?  Read on, I guarantee this little habit can change your life in less than 2 minutes a day.

Using this habit, I've lost weight, improved relationships, and improved my finances, all in the last month.  So what is it?

It's asking myself a set of questions every day.  I've timed how long this takes me, and it usually takes less than 2 minutes, many times only 30 seconds.

So what are those questions?  Well, they are questions that I feel are important in my life right now.  They are accountability questions.

Here are the 8 questions that I ask myself daily.  Note that each question can be answered with a Y or N, or a number.  This is key, it shouldn't be rocket science to answer these questions.

  1. Did I exercise?
  2. Did I eat healthy? (Ate green stuff, <1500 calories)
  3. Did I spend responsibly?
  4. Did I work on relationships?
  5. Did I compliment someone?
  6. How many customers did I talk to?
  7. Did I spend time in the word?
  8. Did I write on my blog?

This started out with just a few questions, and you can and should start out that way as well.  Use your own questions, don't use mine.  Ask yourself what is important to me?

I put these into a spreadsheet, with M T W Th F Sa Su repeating as columns.  Each day I open the spreadsheet and go down the list for the day before.  This helps keep me accountable to my goals.  If I've put in no too many times then I need to really step up my game or decide that it is truly not important to me.  Seeing it on paper helps tremendously.

I did find myself answering a few questions with M…mostly in the beginning.  That shouldn't be an option!  If it is, then you need to look at defining the question a little bit more.  You'll notice I defined what I meant by eating healthy.  Green stuff, with a calorie cap.  Now I can't say M to that question, it's either Y or N.

Simple to understand?  Yes.  Will you do it?  That's up to you.  This is one of those things that is simple to understand, yet all too easy not to do.

Most people will click off of this article and go back to doing things their own way.  They will go back to wishing that they could change their life, yet not doing anything about it.  Is that going to be you?  If you want to have something you've never had, then you've got to do something you've never done!

If you see the wisdom in creating this habit, then put it on your calendar right now.  It takes less than 2 minutes of your day, and you WILL see results!

2 Minutes?  No Excuses
