8 Productive Things You Can Do While Quarantined
Regardless of whether or not you believe the COVID-19 outbreak is as bad as people are making it out to be or not, many of us are going to be unable to go out and do things. If you happen to get locked down in your house, here are eight productive things you can do while quarantined.
1. Develop a Stronger Relationship With Your Loved Ones
Use this time to play some games with your loved ones. Have some in-depth conversations. Play some get to know you games like two truths and a tale where you say two things that are true and one thing that is false and others have to guess which is which. You might be surprised by what you don't know.
2. Read Some Personal and Professional Development Books
Most books are now available online, no need to go to your library to get a book. Check out our top twenty books for personal and professional development and a list of other recommendations by clicking here.
3. Get Those Home Projects Done
Getting quarantined is a great time to get all those little projects done around the house. Things like yard cleanup, spring cleaning, and decorating the nursery 😉 are all excellent uses of time.
4. Work on Your Business
If you can't work in your business, right now is an excellent time to start working ON your business. I'm starting to get an influx of people signing up for coaching calls because they are taking this time to step back and review their overall business plans.
5. Work on Your Career
If you aren't a business owner, now is the perfect time to boost your skills to improve your career. Take some courses through somewhere like Udemy and think about your long term career path. If you need some help choosing a career path, check out our career test.
6. Get in Shape
Many people have wanted to form a new habit; why not use the time to exercise? There are plenty of bodyweight exercises you can do, look them up on YouTube, or if you want to go hardcore, grab a copy of Insanity.
7. Learn a New Skill

There's nothing wrong with relaxing a bit either. Take some time to watch some movies, read a few good books, and enjoy your downtime.
