This month's personal development pick is “The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life.” This is the intriguing life story of one of the most respected men in the world.

Perhaps the most successful investor of all time, Warren Buffett has been given the title of “The Oracle of Omaha.” Once ranked as the wealthiest man in the world, he now ranks #3 on Forbes list with an 84 billion dollar net worth. A well-known philanthropist, he has already given away 35 billion dollars to improve the quality of life for millions of people and has pledged to give away 99% of his fortune.

Buffett runs Berkshire Hathaway, which owns more than 60 companies, including insurer Geico, battery maker Duracell and restaurant chain Dairy Queen.

One of the quotes we've used many times on this website is “The best investment you can make is in yourself,” taken from this legendary investor. Here is a clip from one of his sessions speaking on this subject.
