I am a big Will Smith fan, and his recent short video discussion “Fault vs Responsibility” really made me think about that key difference. I have to say that I completely agree with his assessment. One of the things that I've noticed about people who tend not to do well in life is that they are always looking to assign fault for bad things that happen in their lives.

Smith challenges us to move beyond fault, and take responsibility for resolving the situation, regardless of whose fault it is. When you do that, you take back your power rather than continuing to be the victim.
